A brotherhood tale of resilience, grit and determination
Erik and Angel’s journey from rebellious teens with humble beginnings to the founders of a thriving tattoo and piercing shop is a story of resilience, guts, and unwavering determination. Growing up on the gritty streets of L.A., Erik spent his teenage years sketching at every opportunity and experimenting with a DIY tattoo gun on willing friends and family, unknowingly laying the foundation for his future in the industry. Erik further honed his skills in the Marine Corps. Meanwhile, Angel found his calling in piercing, securing an apprenticeship with a well-known Venice Beach piercer where he refined his craft and realized it's something he could do for a living and do it well.
For Erik, the transition from being honorably discharged from the Marine Corps and back to civilian life was anything but smooth. The years that followed were chaotic, but through the struggles, he and Angel sharpened their craft, built their clientele, and strengthened their bond.
They knew with one another at their side, they could turn their lives around and do and be anything.
Their hustle was undeniable—what started with guerrilla marketing and word-of-mouth soon had them booked solid, making them realize they were ready to build something of their own. By 2004, the brothers knew it was time to step out of the shadows, into the public and create a studio that reflected their vision. With deep family roots, they set out to build an environment that was professional yet welcoming, a place where clients could feel comfortable, and where their own children could grow up immersed in and learn about both the art and the entrepreneurial spirit. Year after year, they’ve continued to improve their studio, refining their skills, their space, and their mission—not just to be remembered for their work, but for the impact they leave on every person who walks through their doors.

My experience has taught me to be patient when working with everyone. I enjoy learning from clients and the journeys they've been through. Since 1995, I have always put in the time and effort into every single tattoo I work on. I never rush through a tattoo and I use the latest and safest tools along with all the best needles to get the job done correctly. I never cut corners. I still get excited when I learn and grow as an artist, a business, and a human being. I regularly challenge myself by going to tattoo seminars and art workshops so my tattoos and artwork can continue to improve year after year.
It is not just about the tattoos we do. It’s about the experience we share with each and every guest that comes through our door. We are highly motivated and eager to give you only the best you can possibly get.

If I can pinch it, I can pierce it. I've been piercing for over two decades and I've learned many lessons along the way. Whether it's a first timer or a veteran, I always aim to give my piercing clients that choose me out of all the studios in the area the absolute best and safest experience possible. I am fast, efficient, very informed about every piercing style and uphold the highest safety and sterile standards. I treat each client like they're family. Your piercing is my piercing. I don't just make sure my clients are taken care of during their appointment, but after, too, including switching out their piercing when the time comes if they feel unsure about doing it themselves. The aftercare and healing process is vital to a successful piercing and I am always available to answer any questions or concerns.
